- Used Pianos
At Perzina quality is guaranteed since all receive the ESQ (European Standard Quality) seal meaning that 90% of the materials come from Germany and other European countries such as England, France and Austria. One of the exclusive features of Perzina pianos is the floating convex soundboard and comb from spruce (an exclusive, Perzina patented feature), which extends the speaking string part by 20%. Perzina has its own unique mechanism that is manufactured with the most modern techniques using high-quality natural materials. There is no use of plastic parts as you find them in Japanese pianos. The German hammerheads are from C.Bechstein (depending on model). Perzina grand pianos are equipped with a similar quality Renner mechanism as Bösendorfer, Steinway & Sons, Seiler and Bechstein.
Affordable, fully handmade pianos and grands. Equipped with the latest technology: Perzina is an unparalleled experience in price/quality. The leading American book, The Piano Book, written by Larry Fine, tests all new pianos and grand pianos annually and then places them in categories. Perzina is in the same category as the well-known quality brands such as Yamaha, Kawai and Boston. Come and listen to the harmonic quality in terms of sound, architecture and price
Perzina uses the very best quality European materials, such as:
1. Soundboard: Austrian quality spruce wood. This soundboard can’t lose any pressure because of the special convex construction.
2. Hammerheads: most piano models are equipped with the mechanism and hammerheads of Renner and/or Abel.
3. Strings: Röslau (Germany)
4. Pinblock: multiple layers of beech, brand Delignit (German)
5. The pianos have a floating convex soundboard and a comb of spruce (spruce wood). Most of the grand pianos are equipped with the same quality Renner mechanism as Bösendorfer, Steinway & Sons, Seiler and Bechstein.
6. Keyboard: individually multi-layer” Linden” wood weighted keys.
Perzina uses first-class C. Bechstein hammers of the highest quality available and used by famous German piano builders. The hammers are individually and manually tuned by our German master technicians. The strings are made by the German company Röslau of the highest quality steel and copper. As soon as the hammers reach the strings, a fully balanced spectrum of sound and emotion unfolds.
The wood for the edge of the grand piano Perzina uses several layers of thin wood. This comes from all over the world, from Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the United States, New Zealand and Canada. The tuning block, in which the tuning pins are contained, is made at the German company Delignit. Numerous layers of wood are glued to each other in order to obtain strength and to prevent cracks. The bridge that transmits energy and sound from the strings to the soundboard is made of solid spruce wood, finished with a top layer of hardwood. Because of its hard texture and light weight, it can transfer the clear and pure sound directly to the soundboard. The soundboard is made of the same wood.
To make an instrument voice proof, steel parts are essential. Perzina uses classic vacuum and/or sandblasted iron frames that can meet the highest demands and that are finished with a beautiful pink or yellow gold colour. Each frame and each box is 'rested' for a while before it can be taken into production. This is to give the material the opportunity to 'harden out'. All Perzina grands are equipped with the Duplex Aliquot Scale system, which makes the timbre brighter and more harmonically accurate. The same Duplex Aliquot Scale system is used by all famous piano factories in their top brands of grand pianos. On each Perzina the highest quality Röslau strings are used and ‘the other way around twisted tuning pins’ made of chrome plated nickel.
